OIT Service Updates

Power has been restored to most of LSRC but network and phone services in C Wing of LSRC are unavailable. We are currently assessing the situation and do not have an ETA.

The power and land lines are currently out in the LSRC. All services requiring power will be unavailable until power and services are restored. This includes network as well as phone services. NSOE and Pratt servers located in LSRC are unavailable. We do not currently have an ETA.

The following Remedy services will be unavailable during the maintenance window: -Remedy Web Client -Remedy Knowledge Base -PC client flashboards

The DukeMail (NetID) email system is currently unavailable. Our staff are working with system vendors to resolve this issue.

Users may experience delays or be unable to access their NetID email through clients such as Thunderbird, Mulberry or webmail. There is currently no ETA.

The web site used by students to change Telecom services and also pay bills will be unavailable due to maintenance.

The Unity voice mail system is currently unavailable.

The DukeMail system will be down from 12 midnight to 1 am Thursday, May 8 for a necessary reboot of the system. Users will not have access to email during this time and incoming mail will queue and be delivered when the reboot is completed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

ePrint will be unavailable due to maintenance.

The Duke instant messenger service (Jabber) will be unavailable due to maintenance.

DukePass will be unavailable due to maintenance.

Verizon Business will be re-routing incoming calls to new circuits for 660-xxxx and 668-xxxx local telephone numbers. During this maintenance window, there could be some intermittent issues with incoming calls. This will not affect outbound local or long distance dialing from Duke.

The Viewsflash Survey Tool (www.duke.edu/survey) is currently unavailable.

Searches of the Duke Directory (LDAP) may not produce results and may display an error message. Other services depending on LDAP lookups may not function correctly at this time. There is currently no ETA.

ALLTEL will be performing maintenance and customers will be unable to place or receive calls or complete data transmissions for up to two and a half hours during the maintenance window.

Maintenance will be performed on the Audix Voice Mail system to improve stability. This will affect all Audix Voice Mail users and Auto Attendants. During the maintenance window, users will not be able to access the Audix Voice Mail system and it will not record new messages.
