Yes. It is possible (and easy) for someone with a laptop to use the lecture hall's speakers. When plugging the VGA cable into your laptop to connect your laptop to our projector, you simply want to also plug the thin cable (the audio cable which is attached to the aforementioned VGA cable) into your laptop's headphone jack. Once you do so, our system is set up to automatically recognize the audio from your laptop and send it to the room's speakers (assuming you have pressed the "laptop" button on the Crestron screen, which also sends the image from the laptop to our projectors).
