How do I configure Thunderbird for Pratt Email?
1) Open Mozilla Thunderbird
2) Choose Tools and select Account Settings...

3) Click on Add Account on the lower left menu

4) Choose Email Account and click Next.

5) Enter your name in the space labeled Your Name: and your email address in the Email Address field and click Next.
6) Choose IMAP for the account type, and enter the incoming mail server address mail.pratt.duke.edu and click Next.
7) Enter your NetID in the Incoming User Name field, and click Next.
8) Enter a name for the account. For example 'Pratt Email'
9) Click Finish on the following screen.
10) Click on Server-Settings and select the check-box labeled "Use Secure Connection (SSL)"
11) Click on the Outgoing Server (SMTP) option on the left menu. Uncheck the box labeled "Use name and password"
12) Click OK and you're done.
