How do I create a vacation message for a Pratt email account

To set a vacation message for a Pratt email account, go to http://it.pratt.duke.edu in your browser and click on the "Pratt Mail Filters" link (highlighted below).




Log in at the next screen with your NetID and password.

Click on the Vacation Settings link at the top of the page.

Enter the message you want to send in the Auto-respond text: box.
Enter the number of days you want the message sent in the drop-down box.
Enter the email addresses that you want this response sent for. This includes ANY email address that could possibly send to your mailbox. Example: I've got three email addresses listed - wsafley@pratt.duke.edu, wsafley@duke.edu, and william.safley@duke.edu
Click the "Save Changes" link.

You should get a message that your changes were successful.
Click Enable to start using your vacation message.


The next screen should show that your vacation message is enabled.


To disable the message, click on the "Disable" button.
