I installed Novell but cannot login - it says the Tree Is Not Available

This is often due to your PC's firewall blocking traffic from the Novell client. Login to your computer 'Workstation Only' (see above) Right click the red N in your system tray and select NetWare Login and try to login again. Your firewall program should pop up a window asking if the application 'Novell Client' should be allowed to access the network. Click Yes or OK and if prompted create a permanent rule for the application. If your firewall does not pop-up a window, you'll have to create a firewall rule for port 427 and 524 TCP & UDP in your firewall's configuration screen (outgoing only)
