dCal & Other Services Down - 3/3/09
A number of services are currently down due to a hardware issue on one of OIT's servers (most notably dCal and Novell storage). Copied from their outage alert (which will provide updates to the problem as well):
A current issue with one of the Duke Storage Arrays may effect dCal, wiki.duke.edu, Novell file access, windows media services, web hosting, AFS and webfiles. Access in some cases and fucntionality in others will be affected in varying degrees and other systems may be affected.OIT is addressing the issue, currently there is no ETA for resolution
We will update this posting as soon as we hear anything.
Edit 9AM:
As of 9:00 a.m., 3 March, an issue with one of the Duke Storage Arrays may have affected dCal, wiki.duke.edu, Novell file access, windows media services, web hosting, AFS and webfiles. Access in some cases and functionality in others was affected in varying degrees and other systems may have also been affected. This issue has been corrected and as the Array comes online services are returning to full function. There is no eta for complete restoration of service at this time.

It appears that dCal is now working once again. The OIT outage page does not yet reflect this, however.
Edit 11:40AM:
As of 11:00 a.m. all services are recovered with the exception of Novell and webhosting which are still experiencing issues.
